Introduction

We are happy to share the release notes for ScaleArc 2018.4.

Summary

This release is a maintenance update that brings several important changes and fixes to enhance the performance and stability of the ScaleArc application.

Key Highlights

  • MS SQL Server 2017 certification with limited new features support.
  • Resumption of publishing to the Azure Marketplace.

Bugfixes

  • Customer Defects Fixed:
    • [SCALEARC-6350] - Issue when adding clusters on scenarios with multiple AWO instances on the same SQL Server hosts.
    • [SCALEARC-6361] - Problem with named connections in an AlwaysOn environment using a JDBC driver.
  • Enhanced logging capabilities in Kerberos environments.
  • Resolved various internal defects.
