KB 2595 - Failed to update IP

User will get the following error message while trying to update an IP which is already assigned to a cluster.

Error ID 2595: Failed to update IP. Interface <name> is assigned to a cluster. Please delete/modify the cluster and try again.



The interface you wish to update is already assigned to a cluster. You can either modify the cluster settings (modify the VIP) or delete the cluster and try the operation once more.

Refer to the Administrator's Guide for more information on modifying Kerberos cluster settings (update VIP).
