ISSUE

User gets the following error message during IP validation while trying to join the domain.

Error ID 2555: Please check the active directory server name, the server has IP <resolvedADdomainIP> but the domain <domain> has IP <resolvedDomainIP>. 

 

SOLUTION

Please check the IP address of the active directory server while trying to join the domain.
