ISSUE

User gets the following error message while trying to change the maximum number of connections the database server can accept.

Error ID 2464: Please increase max_connect_errors to 999999 by using 'set global max_connect_errors = 999999' on the MySQL server.

SOLUTION

This message appears when a user is trying to add a database server which has a max_connect_error variable lower than what is required by ScaleArc. Increase the value of the variable by using 'SET GLOBAL max_connect_errors=999999' on the MySQL server and try the operation again.
