KB 2120 - Interface <name> does not have an IP address assigned to it

ISSUE

User gets the following error message while update network settings.

Error ID 2120: Interface <name> does not have an IP address assigned to it

 

SOLUTION

Check Network configuration on the Scalearc system for proper ip addresses allocated to defined network interfaces. Fix the missing ip address and if possible assign non-conflicting static ip address to avoid misconfiguration later.
