KB 2299 - High Availability Settings Error

ISSUE

User is trying to configure High Availability on iDB and gets the following error message.

Error ID 2299: Hostname on both machines are iDBtest. For HA to work Hostname should be different on both machines.

 

SOLUTION

While configuring High Availability on iDB, the hostname of the machine selected as a secondary machine must be different than the standalone machine. Please navigate to the High Availability settings page and select a machine that has a hostname different than the standalone machine.
