ISSUE |
User receives the following error message while trying to start a cluster.
|
SOLUTION |
This issue can occur when the user credentials are different on the DB server. In that case, please verify DB server credentials.
Alternatively, verify if the DB server is reachable (not down).
This issue can also occur when the load balancer service has been stopped and the user is trying to start a cluster. Please navigate to the System Settings page and click on Start Load Balancer Process before starting the cluster.
For a Kerberos cluster, you will have to do a complete configuration again on the Active Directory after joining the same domain once more. If a complete configuration is not done, then the existing cluster that was created before un-joining will fail to start and the above error message will be seen. Make sure you have given access to ScaleArc's machine account to the SQL Servers in the cluster and try the operation once more. If the problem persists, please contact ScaleArc customer support.
If you are experiencing issues with ScaleArc or with any of its features, please contact ScaleArc Support.
