KB 2023 - Network Settings Error

User can receive the following error while creating a VIP (Virtual IP Address) from the UI:

• IP address already exists.
• IP conflict detected for address.

• Interface with IP address not starting.

For example:

The error could appear for the following reasons:

• The IP that the user is trying to create is already being used in the network
• The interface is down

Upon receiving the above error message, user will need to select another IP address that is not being used in the network and try the operation again.  If the problem persists please contact ScaleArc customer support at scalearc-support@devgraph.com.
