KB 2002 - Failed to create cluster. Unable to save database credentials

Categories Cluster Configuration

ISSUE

User is trying to create a cluster and gets the following error:

Error ID 2002: Failed to create cluster. Unable to save database credentials.

SOLUTION

This error appears when the user is trying to add a cluster and either the sqlite database is locked or the disk space on the ScaleArc system is 100% utilized. If the disk space is full the ScaleArc log rotation program should free some disk space automatically. Please wait for 5 mins for the log rotation process to execute.

If it's a sqlite database lock issue, it would imply that some other API or service is holding a lock on the configuration database. In that case you can wait for a few seconds for the lock to be released, refresh the page and try the operation again. Alternatively, if the problem persists, you can go to Settings and then System Settings page and click on the 'Reset Configuration Lock' button.

If the problem persists please contact ScaleArc customer support through the channels provided below.
